Avis de décès de Jeanne Maillet
Jeanne Maillet, 82, formerly of Richibouctou-Village, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche on Saturday, March 11th, 2017. Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of the late Edouard “Ned” and Lea (Allain) Thibodeau. Jeanne had been the owner of a Take-out restaurant; she was a member of the Richibouctou-Village Golden Age Club and was a supporter of the Knights of Columbus. She was a member of the Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church.
Jeanne will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Gisèle Maillet-Guimond (Claude Cormier) of Cap-Lumiere and Anna Maillet (Jean-Claude Allain) of Rexton; one son, Roger Maillet of Cap-Lumiere; three grandchildren, Yves, Monica and Tanya; and one great granddaughter, Emma.
She also leaves to mourn her two sisters, Marie Curry (Paul) of Rexton and Yvonne Richard (Normand) of Richibouctou-Village; four brothers, Lionel Thibodeau (Rita) of Richibouctou-Village, Raymond Thibodeau (Linda) of Richibouctou-Village, Emery Thibodeau (Marie-Josée) of Richibouctou-Village and François Thibodeau (Florine) of Cocagne; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, Jeanne is predeceased by her husband, Clovis Maillet; her sister, Anna; brother, Leandre; as well as four infant siblings, Roger, Marie, Marie and Joseph.
Visitation will be held in the St-Antoine-de-Padoue slumber room, Richibouctou-Village, Friday from 10:00am to noon and from 1:00pm until time of funeral. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, March 17th, 2017 at 4:00pm, St-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church.
