Peacefully owebsite and card picn Thursday, January 14th, 2016, Ken Johnston of Ailsa Craig at the age of 67. Devoted husband of Karen (Jones) and loving father of Josh. Dear brother of Marianne (Bill) Rowse, Jayne (Jack) Barnum, Albert (Judy) Johnston and Jean (late Paul) Johnston. Also predeceased by his brother Jim Johnston. Dear brother in law of Sharon Oosterwall (Henk), Ken Jones, Marvin (Janet) Jones and Mervin (Marian) Jones. Predeceased by his parents William and Audrey Johnston.
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and will be dearly loved and remembered by his community of Ailsa Craig and his many friends.
Ken was a municipal councilor for Ailsa Craig for over 20 years, a two time Delaware late model champion and a passionate advocate for the community of Ailsa Craig.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Denning’s of Ailsa Craig. A Masonic Service will be held under the auspices of Craig Lodge No. 574 A.F. & A.M. at 6:30 pm.
Funeral service will take place at the Ailsa Craig Community Centre on Wednesday at 11 am.
