At the Alexandria Community Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Alain Gravel of Maxville; age 53 years. Dear brother of Huguette Drouin-Gravel (Jean-Claude) of Val des Monts, Jocelyne Villeneuve (Regent) of Casselman, Neil of Stittsville and the late Gilles of Orleans. Dear son of the late Simone Bourgon and the late Fernand Gravel. Best friend of Victor and Yvonne Lalonde. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special ‘Thank-you’ for the excellent support and care provided by the staff at the Alexandria Nursing Home. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Saturday October 24, 2015 from 9:30-11:00 am. As per Alain’s wishes a Liturgy of the Word will be said in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 am. Interment of cremated remains to follow in the St James Parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Alexandria Community Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Alain a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
