A Service of Remembrance will be held at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME à ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson Street East, on Monday June 6, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Peacefully on Wednesday June 1, 2016, at the Juravinski Hospital in his 84th year. Loving father to Glen, Linda (Robert), and Scott (Michelle). Dear grandmother of Bobby, Shelby, Skylar, Ryan, Spencer, Boden and Maya. Predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley, and his brothers James (Edna), Alfred (Doreen), and Bill (Joan). Cremation has taken place. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at the Juravinski Hospital who took such loving care of John. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 163, 435 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton L9A 2S8, would be appreciated by the family.
