85 years, passed away with family by her side following a courageous battle with lung cancer on October 21, 2016. Beloved wife of Gerald W. Bezaire for 62 years. Loving mother of Michele Bezaire (Milos Stulic), Gerald O. Bezaire (Lorna), late Thomas Bezaire and Carrie James (Jason). Cherished Grandma to Emma, Jacob, Joshua, Justin, Shae, Erin, Jackson, Sarah, Jenna, Cassidy and Jacoby and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Harold Babington (Marie Jean) and the late Bob Babington. Jackie will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jackie was a long time member of the CWL, a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and for 36 years she was a Brownie Leader and was affectionately known as “Brown Owl.” Visiting will be held at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St. Belle River 519-728-1500) on Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p,m, CWL Prayers time to be confirmed and Parish Prayers at 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. to St. Simon & St. Jude Church for the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery.
