suddenly at QHC-Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, June 3rd, 201 Ste4 at the age of 85. Son of the late Edouard and Clara Ste-Marie. Beloved husband of Marjorie Ste-Marie (nee Prowse) of Belleville and formerly of London. Loving father of Lynn (John) Czuba of Rockland, Jane (Bob) Clement of Trenton and Diane Ste-Marie of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Jeffrey Czuba (Mélissa Lehoux), Ashley Czuba, Julie Clement and Heather (Adam) Paulin and great grandfather of Nathan, Josephine and Katelyn. John is survived by one sister, Monique Hébert and predeceased by his brothers, Laurier, Jean Pierre and André Ste-Marie and by his sisters, Suzanne Brassard, Denyse Dumberry and Liette Morin. John’s career with the Armed Forces commenced in January of 1948 and he retired from his position of Base Comptroller in London, Ontario in 1983. He loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises with Marjorie. Family and friends will be forever touched by his love of life and generosity.
The family will receive friends at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 169 North Park St. Belleville, on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
Due to allergies, the family gratefully declines any floral tributes however, if desired Memorial Donations to the Quinte Humane Society would be appreciated.
