DENNIS, Richard John à Sgt. Ontario Provincial Police àentered into rest at his residence on Saturday April 21st, 2018 at the age of 64. Son of the late John & Jacqueline Dennis. Beloved husband of Carol Dennis (nee Lott). Cherished father of; David (Tamara) Dennis, Darren Dennis and Dayna (Thomas) Langley-Smith all of Belleville. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Emma and Chelsea Langley-Smith. Dear brother of; Daniel (Peggy) Dennis of Belleville, Jim Molloy of Alberta, Edie Molloy of Alberta and Terry (Murray) Sturgeon of Belleville. Predeceased by brothers; William and John Dennis. Dear brother-in-law of; Ron Lott, Doug Lott (Vicki), Rosanne (Barry) McGarvey, Jean (Gary) Dafoe, Diane (Greg) Gaffney, Sharon May (Brian) and Donna Lott (Bill). Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273) on Tuesday evening April 24th from 6:00 p.m. à 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church on Wednesday April 25th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Marathon Sick Children’s Fund, Priest’s Retirement Fund for the Archdiocese of Kingston or to St. Michael’s Building Fund.
