A longtime Belleville resident passed away at QHC- Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, September 3, 2015 in his 94th year. He is survived by his son, Rodney (Helene) of Stratford, step children Clayton, Richard Billy, Catharine and Sandra and his sister Hazel (Gerry Doyle). He is also survived by brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Stan was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (nee Hannah) in 1987 and by his wife Virginia (Ginny) (formerly Conlon nee Berry) in 2014, by his sister Evelyn and by his step daughter Susanne (Susie).
The Funeral Service will be held at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Wednesday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation.
The family would like to thank the staff of Quinte 5 (BGH) for making Stan’s last days peaceful and the staff at the Richmond for every thing they did for him over the last year.
