Reid, Virginia (Ginny)- passed away peacefully in Belleville, on July 27th 2014 at the age of 80. Virginia Reid (née Berry) was originally from Apple Hill, Ontario. She was the daughter of the late John Berry and the late Annie Legault. Beloved wife of Stanley Reid of Belleville and formerly married to R. Billy Conlon (divorced). Loving mother of Clayton Conlon (Jess Ryan) of Belleville, R. Billy Conlon Jr. (Gail) of Ignace, ON, Susanne Tsichlas (deceased), Catharine Conlon of Oshawa, Sandra Conlon of Belleville and step-mother of Rodney Reid (Helene) of Stratford. She was the proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Alsid Berry of Espanola, Ernest Berry of Whitby, Alec Berry of Brantford and Bernard Berry of Trenton. Sister-in-law of Mary (Lawrence) Roblin of Demorestville. She is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Virginia is pre-deceased by her sisters Aldea Giroux, Millie Lefebvre, Rita Decaire and Agatha Pilon; and brothers, Harvey Berry, George Berry and John Berry (Victoria). Virginia was a retiree of Sears Canada and Para med. Ginny was a member of the Trillium Seniors Club.
Relatives and friends may call at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, (613) 968-2273, on Friday, August 1st, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
