Christopher Gun-Munro passed away peacefully at home in Bracebridge, Ontario on April 11, 2015 in his 79th year surrounded by loved ones.
Beloved husband of Judy Lebrun. Dear father of Douglas (Santa) of Germany, Shayne Lebrun (Suzanne) of Bracebridge and Sharon Ferriss (Paul) of Toronto. Proud and loving grandfather of Morgan, Kali and Freya Lebrun and Carlyn Ferriss. Dear brother of Christine Braithwaite (Gordon deceased) of Grenada and his twin sister Stephanie Smith (Richard) of England. Chris will be warmly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members and friends.
Born in London, England Chris was raised in Grenada then served in the British Royal Air Force and lived in England before moving to Canada in 1975. Operating as Capital Concerns, Chris was a well respected independent life insurance and financial advisor. He was involved in many charitable and community organizations in Muskoka over the years including serving on the Boards of Directors of the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and most recently the Muskoka Community Foundation.
Chris’ family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. John Richardson, the Cardiac Care Team at Southlake and the Muskoka CCAC Homecare team for their compassion and support.
