Surrounded by her loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, March 19th, 2016, Tania passed away in her 79th year. Tania is now reunited with her husband Julian John Colombo (2005). Loving mother of Doris Carmichael (Pete Bennett), Louise Colombo and Jeff Colombo (Sue). Much loved grandma of Katie, Brad, Amy, Isaac, Shawnee and Josh. Tania is also survived by 6 sisters, 1 brother, nephew Leo, son-in-law Bill Carmichael (Bonnie) as well as many extended family members in Malta and Australia. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Cynthia Rachael Carmichael (1997) and her sister Catherine (Nina) (2015). Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tania can be made to the Juravinski Cancer Center Foundation.
