Peacefully after a lengthy illness, entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Garden St. Site on Tuesday December 8th, 2015. The former Linda Cardinal of Brockville age 65 years. Beloved wife of Glenn Foxton. Loving mother of Robbie Elliott (Jessica) of London, and step-mother of Shanda Foxton (Brent McAllister) of Maitland, Brian Foxton (Deanna) of Kanata and Shelby Hayes (Richard) of Cambridge. Cherished grandmother of Jensen and Jameson Elliott and Cooper and Keegan McAllister, Riley and Taylor Foxton, and Orla and Teigue Hayes. Dear sister of Sharon Villeneuve, Larry and Robin Cardinal (Paula Donoghue) and the late Jim Cardinal. Daughter of the late Red and Dorothy (Kane) Cardinal. Also survived by sister in law Donna Cardinal and Gary Foxton (Judy) and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Chapel on Monday December 14th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Sydenham Cemetery. In memory of Linda donations to the Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the OSPCA would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
