Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on December 7, 2016, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late William J. Daniels. Loved mother of John, Barbara and Sharon. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by her extended family. In 1994, Betty was made a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 60, Burlington where she was a member of the original Colour Guard. She worked for many years as a dispatch Operator for the Burlington Fire Department and was a School Crossing Guard with the City of Burlington for over 15 years. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday December 11 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Legion Service will be held on Monday December 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Field of Honour will follow at Woodland Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Betty to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.v
