Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on Monday, January 30, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Norma (nee Smith). Loving father of Anne Wilbur of Burlington, Debbie and her husband Bill Elliot and Carol and her husband John Helmers, all of Waterdown. Loved grandfather of Jennifer (Travis), Jessica, Dale, Lindsay, Anita and Allie and great-grandfather of Ty, Evan and Sydney. Dear brother of Beatrice (late David Bearman) and Marie (Jack Cunningham). Carl will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He retired as a Corporate Services Manager with Ford Motor Company after 30+ years of service. Private Cremation. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow.
