KIRBY, M.E. Patricia (Patty) (nee Coutts)-
It is with profound sadness that Patty’s family announces her passing on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the age of 65, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington with Roy and Kim by her side. Patty was the loving wife and soulmate of Roy for over 43 years, and the very proud mother of Kimberly Catherine Payne, husband Timothy. She was the much loved Nana of Samantha Grace and Connor William Payne. Sister of Catharine B. Mahy. Patty was a very active member of her community as an artist, teacher, instructor and mentor. She was a devout life member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 461 Elizabeth Street, Burlington on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church à Memorial Fund, or The Carpenter Hospice, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
