Passed away peacefully at Innisfree House surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Beloved and devoted son of Jean and Gil (2005) Green of Cambridge. Cherished brother to Carol (Steve) Shoniker of Brighton. Loved uncle to John of Vancouver, Andrew (Melissa) of Cobourg and Melissa (Kyle) Robinson of Pembroke. Great uncle of Grady, Lee, Cole and Benjamin. Special brother to Linda and Bill Dronyk of Kitchener. Special uncle to Mandy (Carl) Blake of Kitchener and Ben Dronyk of Port Elgin. Special great uncle to Brielle and Emery. Stephen was a devoted Hespelerite, involved in minor hockey as a coach and referee for many years. Greener was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 272 Hespeler for 37 years. Steve was social convener for several years, organizing dances and events. His pride and joy was the yearly car show. He worked for Allen Bradley for over 20 years. He loved to travel, going to India, Hong Kong, Carribean and various locations across North America. Greener loved a game of golf or curling with his friends and travelling to Nascar Races in the south. Greener will be missed by his abundance of friends. Many thanks to those who visited and called to check in with Stephen. The family would like to thank the fabulous staff and volunteers at Innisfree House for their tender and loving care during Stephen’s last days. Family will receive friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12 p.m. In lieu flowers, donations made to the Innisfree House, 2375 Homer Watson Blvd., Kitchener, Ontario N2P 0E9 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
