Effie Danelda McTavish of Toronto, formerly of Chesley, quietly passed away at Brucelea Haven on Friday, March 27, 2015 in her 97th year.
Beloved mother of Roberta Godwin of Cargill, Marabelle McTavish of Toronto and David (Dianne) McTavish of St. Jacobs. Cherished grandmother of Robert (Alison), Heather (Phil), Becky, Candice and Shane and great-grandmother of Chesley, Effie, Roslyn, Max and Emma. She will be fondly remembered by her siblings, Gordon Bell of Abbotsford, Sheila Westlake of London, Dorothy (Harry) Always of St. Thomas, Aletta Bell of London and sister-in-law Jean Bell.
Effie was predeceased by her husband Robert McTavish, sisters Ruby Alexander and Lorelie Downey, brothers Archie and Milton Bell, sister-in-law Anne Bell, and her parents, Daniel and Violet (Husk) Bell.
A funeral service celebrating Effie’s life will be held at the Chesley Baptist Church on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. John Bell officiating. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.
