John Robert Golem of R.R. #1 Desboro, passed away suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in his 71st year.
Loving husband of Elaine. Cherished father of CherylAnn Golem (Brian Kotaba) of R.R. #4 Chesley and grandfather of Caitlyn, Skylar, Wyatt and Zach. John will be sadly missed by his sisters, Gloria Albright (Murray Cook) of R.R. #4 Chesley, Karen (Allan) Moon of Aylmer and Melva (Keith) Paylor of R.R. #1 Durham. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Howard Albright and his parents, Melvin and Ruth (Agnew) Golem.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Tuesday from 1à4 and 7à9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating John’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Sullivan on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Sullivan Township.
Memorial donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Sullivan Twp. would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
