DOLIGHAN GLENNIS MARY

Of Alliston, passed away peacefully in Matthews House Residential Hospice on Friday January 6, 2017 in her 74th year. A Registered Nurse, she was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in the ( Class of 65). She won the battle against breast cancer 16 years ago and became a strong advocate of breast cancer awareness by participating with breast cancer survivor dragon boat teams, first with Cobourg (Survivor Thrivers) and then with BARRIE’S (Ribbons of Hope). Her teams have participated throughout North America as well as New Zealand. Glennis Dolighan nee Graham, was the beloved wife of Richard ( Dick ) Dolighan and the dear mother of the late Michael John Dolighan. She is also survived by one brother Glenn Graham and his wife Wanda as well as a sister in law Jackie German ( late Brian Graham ), and many treasured aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Friday January 13, 2017 from 2 à 4 and 7 à 9pm. Saturday from 9;30 until 10:30am. Service in Grace United Church Cobden on Saturday at 11am. Spring interment Howard Cemetery Foresters Falls.
