Passed away peacefully at his home in Cobourg on Saturday July 9, 2016 with family at his side, after a long battle with prostate cancer. Born and raised in Streetsville and formerly of Orangeville. Beloved husband of nearly 66 years to Marie Evans (nee Hollas). Loving father of Arthur (Elaine), Cynthia James (Terry), Carol Glancey (Jack), Robert (Pat) and Paul (Debra). Proud grandfather and great grandfather of many. Brother of Jack Evans, Harry Evans, Bill Evans and the late Garfield Evans. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
