Lois passed away peacefully, and surrounded by love, at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood, on September 24th in her 84th year. Lois, beloved wife of Walter for 60 years. Loving mother of Leana of Dallas, TX and Michael of New Brunswick. Dear sister of Leola Fawcett and the late Joyce, Gerald, Murray, and Lewis (Bud). Fondly remembered and adored by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Lois lived a full life touching the lives of all who knew her, from her endless devotion to family and friends to the highly respected and professional nursing care she provided in our community.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. McLachlin, Dr. Macfarlane, Dr. Rowlinson, and the staff at both Collingwood G&M and Campbell House Hospice, for the selfless support delivered during Lois’s unexpected illness and passing.
Visitation will be at the Chatterson Funeral Home, on Monday September 26th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
A funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 Maple Street, Collingwood, on Tuesday September 27th at 11am.
Interment will be at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Collingwood.
