BECKER: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Stratford General Hospital, on Friday, December 4, 2015, Alvin Michael Becker of RR 1, Dashwood, age 72. Beloved husband of Carol (Shackleton) Becker. Loved father and father-in-law of Heather and Jonnathan (Jonn) Stark and Larry Becker all of Dashwood. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marian Becker of Zurich, Marjorie McKoy of Gaspe, QC., Gerald and Sheila Shackleton of Guelph, Valerie and Bill Krasinski of Kincardine. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Rudolph (Rudy) and Violet (Volk) Becker, brothers-in-law Howard McKoy and Lindeen Shackleton. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. The Rev. John E. Trembulak III Officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Canadian Diabetic Association, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
