Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at L.H.S.C. à Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, June 6, 2016, Barbara D. (Corkum) (Velianou) Reber of Dashwood formerly of Mississauga, age 72. Beloved wife of the late John George Reber (May 14, 2016). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Kim and Mike Ryckman of Dashwood, Kevin and Alyson Velianou of Hamilton. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Rebecca Ryckman, Curtis Ryckman and Cassandra Shaddock, Kyle Ryckman, Nicholas Velianou and great-grandson Dominic Ryckman. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Maxine and Clyde Nauss, John Corkum, Parker Corkum, Don Reber and Joyce Reber. Barbara will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Fondly remembered by Cecilia, Sally and many other dear friends. Remembered by John’s children. Predeceased by her parents Maxwell and Rubie (Cross) Corkum. At Barbara’s request, cremation has taken place, with visitation at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Dandy Walker Alliance or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
