John Russell Sangster of Hensall, passed away surrounded by his loving family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Thursday, July 23rd, 2015. Survived by his children Linda (Jerry) Traquair (Janet, Erin and Craig), Bonnie (Larry) Gould (Angela, Scott and Lori), Kathy (Jim) Stephenson (Ann and Michael), Jeff (Marlene) Sangster (Ashley, Joshua and Brenden). Also survived by his children’s mother Marion Plukett. John was the last surviving member of the Sangster family. At his request cremation has taken place with a private family Celebration of Life. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. He was retired fire fighter in Hensall and Clinton, as well as a master of many trades. John spent the last 20 years helping his family and enjoying his great-grandchildren Taya, Emily, Eva, Madison, Broderick, Alex, Sam, Logan, Brooklyn, Darrah, Nolan, Regan, Taitum, Parker and Nicholas.
