At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, June 3, 2016. Iris Halfpenny (Nee: Decker) daughter of the late Ernie and June Decker. Beloved wife of Wayne Halfpenny of Chalk River. Loving mother of Tamara-Leigh Gallagher and her husband David of Saskatchewan, Brittany Halfpenny and her husband Alex Gougeon of Aylmer, Quebec, and Devon Halfpenny and his wife Allison of Deep River. Cherished grandmother of Caelyn Gallagher and Derek Halfpenny. Dear sister of David Decker (Stéphane Henry) of Ottawa, Aaron Decker and his wife Cecelia, Tim Decker, Jeanette Decker (Mark Graham) and Lorraine Decker (John Decker) all of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her brother Garth Decker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Friday, June10 from 10:00 until 10:50 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
