Silvia Noemia Santos, age 34 of London, Ontario, passed away on August 30, 2015 at the Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. She was born to her loving parents, Ilda and José Santos, on October 16, 1980 in Pombal, Portugal. Silvia, or âTia’ as she was affectionately known by her nieces (both biological and spiritual) and nephew, endured a year long battle with gastric cancer. Throughout her journey, she braved chemotherapy treatments and surgeries at University and Victoria Hospitals, and alternative treatments at the Oasis of Hope Hospital. She is survived by her parents José and Ilda, brother Pedro (Sonia), sister Elizabeth (Jim, Rob), nieces Nayde, Kyana, Seana and nephew Wyatt, and by many adored family and friends. Relatives and friends will be received at the Arn Funeral Home 193 Shackleton St. Dutton 519-762-2416 Friday 2-4 & 7-9 where a (Celebration of Life Service) will be held on Saturday September 5, 2015 at 11 A.M.
