At Seaforth Community Hospital, Seaforth on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 of Usborne Township, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Dougall) Coates (2003). Dear father of Kenneth Coates (Réjean) of Usborne Township, and Lenore and Tony Mattucci of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Matthew Mattucci (Carla), and Miranda Mattucci (Caitlin), and great-grandfather of Addison and Natalia. Dear brother-in-law of Andrew and Marion Dougall, Marian Dougall, and Fern Dougall all of Exeter. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Jack’s faithful, canine companion (Cindy) will be lost without him. Predeceased by his sisters Jean Munds (1985) and her husband Wilfred, and Betty Coates (2010), and brothers-in-law Harry, and Bill Dougall. Jack farmed in Usborne Township his entire life, and also drove school bus for more than 15 years.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM, and again on Friday morning from 10 -11 AM, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27th at 11 AM with Rev. Laurie O’Leary officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
