Collins, Bevan William Henry passed away June 4 2016 peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 68. Loving husband and best friend to Brenda for 45 years. One of a kind Dad to Jason, Sean, Ryan and Aaron. Special son-in-law to Margaret Sachs. Dear brother to Mervyn(Mary) and Gwenyth(Robert) Farrell. Remembered by Marion Skipjack, Diana(John) Dragert, Brian(Sharon) Sachs, Tammy(Debbie) Sachs, John(Katerina) Sachs, Rodney Sachs, Raymond Sachs and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Berton(Margaret) Collins.
Bevan enjoyed the outdoors à fishing, hunting, canoeing, camping and hiking. He was proud of his accomplishment of becoming a Master Electrician in his retirement years. We will remember Dad for his witty, kind and gentle soul.
The family will receive guests on Monday, June 6 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus. Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, June 7 2016 at 11am. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. Donations may be made in memory of Bevan to The Friends of Algonquin.
