On November 22nd, 2014 with quiet strength and dignity, Larry Emery of Forest passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, in Sarnia, at age 70. He is survived by his loving wife Vicki (Brandon), and his two daughters, Debbie Emery and Lorrie Nagano (Brian). He was the very proud grandpa of Tomio and Samantha Nagano. He was born on the family farm, to June and the late Rae Emery. He will be missed by his sisters Lois White (Ralph Nutt), Noreen Croxford (Robert), Karen Boris (Joe), by his brother Kevin Emery (Karen), and his sisters-in-law, Becky Johnson and Wendy Jory (Gary). He was predeceased by his grandson, Chris Robbins, his sister and brother-in-law Geraldine and Gerald Maher, and his sister-in-law Connie Hawkins. Larry farmed for many years in Warwick Township, and despite the debilitating effects of Sjà¶grens, continued to enjoy driving tractors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time at the cabin with family and friends. Friends will be received at the FOREST CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS (9 James St. South) on Wednesday, November 26th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday at 11am at St. James’ Presbyterian Church in Forest. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
