GIAMPAOLO, Michael – passed away at Greater Niagara General Hospital, with his family by his side, on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the age of 59. Beloved father of Brayden (Tara), Alessa (Matt) and Daniel Giampaolo. Dear son of Lavinia and the late Antonio Giampaolo. Loving brother of Maria Giampaolo and Nina (Frank) Cricenti. Cherished Zio of Loren, Matthew, and Lukas. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his long-time partner Bonnie Wilkie, her children Amanda (Dan) and Jessica and grandchildren Olivia, Sophia and Alice. He will be fondly remembered by many aunts and uncles including Lina (late Celestino) Grieco, Jerry (Elvira) Giampaolo, Pat (Carmela) Giampaolo and the late Teresa (late Angelo) Bova, Francesco (Nella) Di Giorgio, Franca (Antonio) Morra and also loved by many cousins. Predeceased by his Zio Simone. Michael will be sadly missed by all his friends and players from the Greater Fort Erie Youth Soccer Club who were like a second family to him. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 310 Central Ave., Fort Erie on Thursday at 10 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Greater Fort Erie Youth Soccer Club.
