Suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the age of 67. Danny Deir beloved husband of Maureen O’Meara. Loving father of Joey (Carla), David and Liza. Cherished Grandfather of Sofie. Dear brother of William (Bill) (Jane), Paul (Ellie) and Larry. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Elizabeth Deir, 1 brother Michael and 1 sister Mary Joan Shine and sister in law Patricia. Survived by Brother in law Glen and several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church on Saturday April 22 at 11am. Interment St. John’s cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the St. John’s Restoration Fund, Gananoque Food Bank or to the Gananoque and District Humane Society.
