It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gregory Duffie on July 13, 2016 at the age of 29. Cherished son of Teresa and Michael. Loving brother of Brian. He will be greatly missed by his grandma Eva, uncles Larry (Verena) and Bill (Heather), and cousin Ashley. Gregory was known for his outgoing personality and touched many lives through his volunteer work at Emmanuel House. He always had a love for the outdoors. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (7 East Avenue South, Hamilton) on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Lawrence Parish (475 Mary Street) on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
