Douglas “Doug” Dey, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital on Monday, September 21, 2015, in his 79th year.
Born in Milverton, son of the late Frank and Annie (Keeso) Dey. Douglas worked at Food Basics until retiring.
Survived by wife Carol (nee Willis) Dey, sons Daniel Dey of Hamilton, David (Sonya) Dey of Cambridge, daughter Patti (Bart) Donovan of Las Vegas, Nevada, grandchildren Jessica, Jacob, Chase and Cruz, and one great granddaughter. Also survived by a brother Ted (Heidi) Dey of Stratford, sisters Kay (Bill) King of Goderich, Susan (Robert) Harrow of Austrailia. Predeceased by his brother Don Dey and sister Joan Bertie.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 11:00 am, at Grace United Church, Hanover. Rev. Rienk Vlietstra officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
