Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Firday, May 12, 2017 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. D.Wesley Clare. M.C. Loved mother of Scott (Dianna) Clare of Brantford and Margaret Clare of Kingston. Cherished grandmother of Meagan and David (Toni), Andre (Laura) Kuyntjes and Beth Kuyntjes; and her great grand-daughter Baby Evelyn. Dear sister of Maureen Davis (late Tom), Pat (Carol) and predeceased by her parents John Joseph Carty and Beatrice (Murphy) Carty and 8 other brothers and sisters. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean was the last member of the Class of 1 939 from Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston.
Friends will be received at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr. and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) on Monday, May 15th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Barnaby’s Church, Brewer’s Mills, on Tuesday, May 16th at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
