Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 85.
Beloved husband for 59 years to Frieda (nee: Epp).
Loving father of Susan Szozda (Michael), Elsie Frickey (William) and Ralph Hoeft Jr. (Mary Ann).
Cherished grandpa to Amy, Dianne (Gregory), Catherine, Alexander Szozda and Warren Hoeft.
Ralph was a longtime employee of Mutual Life for 42 years.
He was a long time member of the J.C.I and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Cremation has taken place.
Ralph’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3-3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service to follow in the chapel at 4 p.m.
Reception to follow.
Interment at St. Peter’s Lutheran cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter’s TV Ministry, Grand River Hospital Foundation-Oncology Unit or Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
