Passed away peacefully with his family at his side after a lengthy illness on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Meinzinger) of 45 years. Loving father of Jeff (Shannon Ferguson) and loving grandfather to Tristan and Caleb.
Son of the late Murrel and Audrey Goodreau. Dear brother of Merle Cheaney (Blair), Bob, Terry, Emiel (Brenda) and Cindy. Predeceased by sister Faye Bielby.
Dear son-in-law of Ross and Shirley Meinzinger and brother-in-law to Ken, Gary (Jan), Donna White (Neville), Rick, Sherry, Barb and Lori Meinzinger. Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Robin was an avid sportsman and loved to fish and hunt and he was retired from Magna International.
Family and friends will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, followed by a reception at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
