Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Monday August 31, 2015. Joe Woods of Peterborough, formerly of Smith Township in his 89th year. Husband of the late Verna May Woods (nee Graham). Loving father of Kathy Grieder (Bill), Brenda and Steven Woods (Charlene) all of Peterborough. Loving grandpa of Ryan, Jessica and Amy. Loving brother of Blake (Noreen), Joyce Mann (Ron) and Debbie Fellows (Bob). Also loved and remembered by his sister-in-law Kitt Woods and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Doris Ireland (Reg), Bart, Kay Reid (Jack), Arthur and Florie Wilkinson (Ron). A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday September 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM with visitation to commence at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
