Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Wednesday December 4th, 2013. Father of Dale Beckstead (Linda), Judy Hunt (Steve) , Dan Beckstead (Sally), Matthew Beckstead and Aaron Williams (Lauren). Grandfather of Mitchell, Katie, Alec, Tyler, Kelsey, Brandy, Melanie and Adrian. Bill is survived by his sister Lynda Beckstead, a brother Frank Beckstead (Angela), first wife Maureen Beckstead and second wife Nancy Archibald, nephew Scott Beckstead and niece Lisa Kincaid (Jay). He is predeceased by his parents George and Dorothy (Barkley) Beckstead, brother Bob Beckstead and sister-in-law Julia Beckstead.
A Memorial Reception will be held at the Gananoque Legion on Saturday December 14th, 2013 from 1 à 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
