HARDER: Agnes (nee Friesen)

A resident of Leamington, Agnes Harder passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Hospice Residence in Windsor, with her family by her side, following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 65 . She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and was the daughter of Helen Friesen (nee Schmidt) and the late Abraham Friesen. Loving wife of Peter Harder for 45 years. Dear mother of Helen & Peter Sawatzky (2002), Annie Harder & Jacob Neufeld, Peter & Tina Harder, John & Helen Harder. Proud grandmother to Samantha (Ben), David, Brayden, Abbigail, Adam, Bailey, Xander and Griffin. Dear sister to Christine, Abe, Ben, Helen, Kathy, John, Jake, Henry and Sarah. Agnes will forever be remembered by her family and friends for her creativity in woodworking and crafts. She also had a passion for the outdoors and all it had to offer. Family and friends will be received at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519 326-2631) on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Meadow Brook Fellowship Church, 219 Talbot St. E., Leamington from 1:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service to Celebrate Agnes’ life at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Jeph Maagdeleyn officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Wheatley. Memorial donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
