81 years, went to be with her Saviour, with her family by her side on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Leamington Hospital. Loving wife of the late Jake DeRaadt (2000). Beloved mother of Dorothy Maksoud (Ace), John (Kim), Jack (Carolyn), Randy (Annette), Rosy Vander Leek (Marvin), predeceased by her children Wilma, Bas, Corinne (the late Al), Maggie. Frieda was the cherished Oma of 19 grandchildren and Oma Oma of 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and her 3 sisters and her brother, all of Holland. She will be missed by the congregation at Essex Christian Reformed Church. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Sunday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service to celebrate Frieda’s life at 11 a.m. from the Essex Christian Reformed Church, 276 Talbot Street South, Essex. Pastor Aaron Thompson officiating. Interment Erie Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
