DAVIDSON, James Barry – after a short but courageous battle, entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Barry, was born on February 27, 1949 in Stratford, Ontario and was the beloved husband of Allison (nee Campbell). Loving father of Jennifer (Rob) Putnins and Keith (Katie) Davidson. Treasured grandfather of Eric, Rachel & Lauren Putnins. Predeceased by his mother Ella Davidson-McBride (nee Saxton), by his father Jack Davidson, by his step-father George McBride and by his brother Wayne Davidson. Dear brother of John (Barb) Davidson, Garth (Jackie) Davidson, Heather (Bob) O’Neill, Diane (Paul) Denault, Debbie (Adrian) Hartog and Kirk (Eileen) McBride and dear brother-in-law of Pam Davidson. Fondly remembered by lots of nieces and nephews. Barry loved and will be missed by his cats Friday, Sunday and Bowtie. In keeping with Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Friday, July 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday, August 1st from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 A.M.
