LAKE, John Charles Buffett (member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years) – entered into rest peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Buff, in his 96th year, was the beloved husband for 53 years of the late Effie Lake (1996). Lovingly remembered by his son Buff Jr., his great grand daughter Jade and by his much loved companion Shirley of 20 years. Dearly remembered by his four legged friend Ivy, by his friends at Bethel Church, by his many neighbours in Cowan’s Bay and by his close friends Mitch and Theresa. Relatives and friends are invited to the Stoddart Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Thursday from 7-9 P.M. and on Friday, January 13 from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 10:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Emily Cemetery, Omemee with a light lunch to be held at Bethel Emily United Church, 90 Bethel Road, Omemee K0L 2W0. Brethren of Lorne Lodge #375, Omemee and visiting brethren are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Thursday, January 12 for a service at 7:00 P.M.
