It is with great sadness, our family announces the passing of Robert James Bedford, on Saturday, October 31st, 2015, at the Ross Memorial Hospital. Bob was born October 15th, 1936 in Toronto, Ontario, where he lived his life helping others. Serving in the Medical Corp. Reserve Force from 1953- 1957. Bob was a retired Toronto EMS Paramedic, decorated with awards and exemplary service for 30+ years. He always took pride in his accomplishments. Bob loved life, country music, and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. He always looked forward to his trips to Daytona Beach for the Nascar race. Bob leaves behind two daughters. Margaret Bedford of Toronto and Susan Osborne (Ron) of Lindsay. Five Grandchildren, Colin (Danielle), Jessilyn, of Toronto and Kyle, Megan and Scott of Lindsay. Three great-grandchildren Cassidy, Chloe and Carter. Bob will be fondly remembered by his niece Lori Pollack (David) of Toronto and will be sadly missed by his many friends in Toronto in the “Guild” and the Stone Cottage. Relative and Friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 1:00 Pm until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 Pm
If desired memorial donations maybe made to the Continuing Care Program or the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital. The family would like to thank all the wonderful, fabulous caring nursing on CCP 1 & Palliative care for their support, laughter and compassion
