Peacefully with her family by her side, Barbara passed away on July 7, 2017 in her 74th year. Loving wife to Melvin; cherished mom of Jim (Tammy), Debby and Yvonne (Chris) and treasured grandma of Jennifer (Kory), Ron, Garrett, Amanda (Andrew), Cody (Jessica), Doug (Jess), Stephanie (Paul) and Paige as well as several great-grandchildren. Welcomed into heaven by her grandson Adam, her son William and her parents Kathleen and Oscar Howard. Dearly missed by her sisters Linda (Ray) Cassidy and Heather (Ken) Killby. She fought a courageous battle but now is her time to rejoice in the arms of her Heavenly Father free of pain and suffering. We love you and will miss you dearly. Thank you to Extendicare London for your kind and empathetic care over the past 12 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London. The celebration of life service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
