ORR, Marjorie – At the amazing age of 96, on October 31, 2015, our Nana left us peacefully to go and dance with Bubba. Our indomitable Marjorie was Mom to Jackie Porter (John), Nana to Erin Porter and Jen Porter (John Barwell), and Great-Nana to Spencer and Sydney Jeffreys and to Mackenzie and Ella Barwell. She was the beloved aunt of Mari Lou McNamara and Juli McLagan. Marjorie enjoyed successful careers in hairdressing and in real estate and made countless friends along the way. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4 from 5-7 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. Marjorie’s life will be celebrated with a party to be held at the home of Jackie and John Porter, 217 Hunt Club Drive, on Sunday, November 8 from 2-4 pm. In honour of her memory wear something pink. Enjoy some white wine and some lively music. We hope all family, friends and acquaintances will come.
