Ken passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer. He was a protector and trailblazer who gave himself selflessly to his wife Bonnie, son Graham and daughter Elizabeth and to many people at the White Oaks United Church, where he volunteered with the food bank. He also volunteered with London Wild Minor Hockey, at Moorelands Camp with Scouts Canada and at his workplaces. Ken lived a full and rich life raising his family in London, Ontario. A graduate of York University and Richview Collegiate Institute, Ken developed a rewarding career in the wholesale food industry throughout Southwestern Ontario. He remains loved by Bonnie, Graham, Elizabeth, his parents, Olive and the late David Ross, brother Ian and his wife Barbara, his mother-in-law Pearl and his father-in-law, the late Lloyd Wilson, his brother-in-law John and his sister-in-law Joan. Proud uncle of Allison and her daughter Serena, Amy (Jay), Katy (Lyle) and their family Logan, Eli, Glenn (Katie), Dennis (Kim) and their son Gavin.
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth (519-652-2020) on Sunday, June 11 from 6 à 8 p.m. The Celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at White Oaks United Church, 1901 Jalna Boulevard, London, Ontario with Reverend Nancy Waterman officiating.
