Passed away peacefully on his 81st birthday, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Ivon Maalawy. Loving father of Hany, P. Eng. (Dr. Mona), of Cairo, Egypt; Dr. Hanaa (Dr. Youhanna), of London; Ayman, P. Eng. (Nirvana, P. Eng.), of Winnipeg; and Dr. Heba (Dr. Victor), of Windsor. Treasured Grandpa (Gedo) of Sandra and David Mekhaiel, Andrew and Maria Youssef and Paul and Marco Istasy. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends in Egypt and Canada. A funeral service will be celebrated at ST. PAUL COPTIC ORTHODOX CHURCH, 1151 Royal York Road, London, on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., preceded by the Liturgy from 8:00 à 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
