DARNELL, Rita à At Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 9th, 2014 with family and friends at her side, Mrs. Rita (Contasti) Darnell of London in her 53rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of John and much loved daughter of Iolanda and the late Tony. Loving stepmom of Theresa, John and Kristi. Dear sister of Irene DiCarlo (Gerry), Reno (Jana), Laura Baldassarra (the late Gabe) and Lucy Marion (Ed). Missed also by her brother-in-law James (Soyeong) Darnell. Rita was head of the Math Department at Medway High School where she taught her entire career. Rita’s family wish to thank Dr. Younus and the Oncology staff at Victoria Hospital for their kindness. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7:00 à 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:00 à 4:00 and 7:00 à 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 14th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
