Peacefully at McGarrell Place on Monday, September 7, 2015, Ruth Dawson, of London in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Mervain Dawson (1982). Loving mother of Stephen Dawson (Gail), Pat Edgerton (John) and Dave Dawson (Dianne), all of London. Cherished grandmother of Heather, the late Paul, Cory, Brent, Bryan, Stuart, Adam and Sean, and great-grandmother of Luke, Paige, Lucy, Ethan, Brady, Emily, Cole, Asher, Aaron, Patrick and Sylas. Predeceased by her siblings: the late Stella Zuber, the late Bruce Zuber (late Blanche), the late Rene Jarrett (late Harold), and the late Jim Zuber (Bernice). Our family would like to thank the staff of South West CCAC, Maple View Terrace (especially Gail), and McGarrell Place, for making Ruthie’s last few weeks as peaceful as possible. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. A private interment at Hamilton Cemetery will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ruthie are asked to consider The Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society.
