Avis de décès de Ellen Marianne (Crowley) CONLIN check_circle

At her home with her family by her side, Ellen M. Conlin, age 62, of RR2 Ailsa Craig, formerly of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, died on Sunday March 9, 2014. Ellen was born March 26, 1951, in rural Wisconsin, to Daniel and Catherine (Kelley) Crowley. She grew up there until attending nursing school in Madison, Wisconsin, where she met her husband. In 1973, she married Phil Conlin and moved to McGillivray Township, Ontario where they were blessed with four children who they raised on their family farm. She was known for her hard work, professionalism and above all her compassion while working as a Registered Nurse for 42 years. Ellen is dearly remembered for being devoted to her faith in God and the selfless love of her family; she was proud of her Irish heritage.

She was the dear mother of Tara and Mike Whibbs and Dr. Anne Conlin and Aaron Sehn all of Peterborough, Patrick Conlin and Dr. Kelly Mitchell of London and Dr. Catherine Conlin of Toronto. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Eleanor, Claire and Amelia. She was the dear sister and sister-in-law of Margaret and Les Haefer, Kathleen and Rob Horkan, Dan and Anne Crowley, Mary Beth Crowley, Bill and Jolene Crowley, Leo and Jeanette Crowley and Andy and Mary Crowley all of Wisconsin, Tony and Mary Conlin, Jack and Lynda Conlin and Mary and Jerry Morley all of RR2 Lucan. Predeceased by her brother Dennis. She will be sadly missed by her (Canadian sister) Joanne MacGregor. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 69219 Bronson Line, South Huron (Mount Carmel) on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
